Join us in this workshop into the vast world of Leather Craft where you will be guided through an applied variety of basic skills including cutting, gluing, and stamping (to name a few).
In this workshop you will fabricate two projects from start to finish: a key fob/key ring holder and coin pouch.
This workshop is completely introductory to new crafters and no leather craft experience is required.
All the necessary tools, patterns and materials are included.
There will be a variety of customization possibilities from leather colour, hardware finish, and stamping (letters & numbers and tooling design).
Local leather crafter Adam will lead and expertly guide the workshop with his near decade of experience. Adam has diligently stayed in the realm of handmade* Leather Craft pertaining to daily utilitarian goods ranging from small knickknacks to large travel luggage. Adam has sold his leather work in craft shows, in his brick-and-mortar shop and online.
*Handmade, using hand tools, and not power tools to cut, punch, stamp, stitch etc. NOT industrial tools.
